Did you guys know that Snake Plants aka Mother in Law’s tongue, bloomed? Well I didn’t until mine did of course, to my surprise. I have owned multiple plants over my forty- five years and this was a first for me. I observed the bloom forming on plant for over a month and I have to tell you, I wasn’t expecting such beautiful flowers and the aroma was a bonus. The aroma from the flowers reminded me of a Honey suckle plant, it had a very sweet, unique smell.

Now believe it or not it’s easy to get them to bloom. The key ingredient needed for the plant to bloom is the plant must be root bound, it’s that simple. Well we shall see, I did re-pot it after it bloomed so let’s see what happens next year.
