To quote Paul Begala “In the face of demonstrable, provable, incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, McCain and Palin continue to assert that Gov. Palin opposed the infamous “Bridge to Nowhere”. Well she’s still lying and the story changes like some folk change their underwear. From the bridge to nowhere which turned into  the road to nowhere.
While seeking votes, she told Ketchikan residents she backed the ‘bridge to nowhere.’ As governor, she spent the money elsewhere and moved ahead with a $26-million road to the nonexistent bridge.
But in 2006, Palin stood before residents in this region during her gubernatorial campaign and expressed support for the bridge. It became apparent after she was elected that the state’s portion would be too costly, and Palin ordered transportation officials to abandon the project.

She held on to the $223 million in federally earmarked funds for other uses, such as the Gravina road, approved by her predecessor.

“Here’s my question,” said Ketchikan Mayor Bob Weinstein. “If Sarah Palin is not being truthful on an issue like the Gravina bridge project, what else is she not being truthful about?”

To her gospel beliefs, just ask the pastor who clashed with Palin, Howard Bess. He wrote one of the books she wanted banned.
That is what scares the Rev. Howard Bess. A retired American Baptist minister who pastors a small congregation in nearby Palmer, Wasilla’s twin town in Alaska’s Matanuska Valley, Bess has been tangling with Palin and her fellow evangelical activists ever since she was a Wasilla City Council member in the 1990s. Recently, Bess again found himself in the spotlight with Palin, when it was reported that his 1995 book, “Pastor, I Am Gay,” was among those Palin tried to have removed from the Wasilla Public Library when she was mayor.

“She scares me,” said Bess. “She’s Jerry Falwell with a pretty face.

“At this point, people in this country don’t grasp what this person is all about. The key to understanding Sarah Palin is understanding her radical theology.”

Bess adds, “this person’s election would be a disaster for the country and the world.”

and lastly TrooperGate

The thing that scares me the most is; that after almost 8 years of an administration that has done nothing but lie to the American people. Palin’s lies will be looked at as the norm by the sheeple masses.
