The Durham Environmental Affairs Board, along with the Public Health and Emergency Management Directors, will present findings about the impact of the biodefense lab planned for Butner on Monday night.
The findings will be presented to the Durham County Board of Commissioners. The board will also receive comments from the public following the presentations.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, on the second floor of the county courthouse, 200 East Main St.
Federal officials are considering building the $450 million facility, which would study large-animal diseases.
