It’s election day, and as you know by now this is the big day for NC and Indiana. May 6th, 2008 is the most momentous presidental primary in North Carolina’s recent history and is being watched very closely throughout the nation. As a resident of the tarheel state (as some call us), I have never seen this level of participation and enthusiasm during a primary.
At last count Granville County had added over 30,000 new voters to the roll, with a substantial amount of earlier voters. I still believe there are many undecided voters who could sway the race for any candiadate but I am just glad to see an eagerness to vote, desire to have a voice in our future and a drive for change from the last 7 plus years. I’m not going to try and sway you either way because I hope by now you have made up your mind, I’m only saying vote.
One other thing, watch this video about loopholes that are picking your taxpaying pockets and demand change from your choosen candidate. These private equity crooks are costing taxpayers millions and while we are already battling financial hardships or home foreclosure the loophole bandits get rich while we foot the bill. It’s not right and should be stopped now.
